Course Details

The Kofi Annan Institute for Conflict Transformation at the University of Liberia offers a Master's Degree program focused on conflict transformation and peacebuilding. Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the Master's Degree program in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding at the Kofi Annan Institute for Conflict Transformation University of Liberia, candidates must meet the following entry requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Law, or any other related field.
  2. Minimum GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
  3. English Language Proficiency: Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency. This can be demonstrated by achieving a minimum score of 550 on the TOEFL exam or an equivalent score on other recognized English language proficiency tests.
  4. Professional Experience: Applicants are preferred to have some relevant professional experience in the field of conflict transformation and peacebuilding.
  5. Personal Statement: Applicants must submit a personal statement that outlines their reasons for pursuing the program, their relevant experience, and their future career goals.
  6. Letters of Recommendation: Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from academic or professional referees who can attest to their academic and/or professional abilities.
